The Georgia Mudcats: Barefoot in the Hen House and Other Southern Delights
SMD is pleased to present The Georgia Mucdats - Barefoot in the Hen House and Other Southern Delights. The Georgia Mudcats dedicate this effort in memory of Tony McAuley, a BBC film maker, radio announcer, and author from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He was a great musician, singer, storyteller and friend. Tony was present the first time we ever played together. We became the Georgia Mudcats at his insistence. In 1999, with Tony's help, patience and connections, we spent two weeks touring and playing venues in Northern Ireland. We miss "the little man."
Composed of John Grimm on fiddle and vocals, Lisa Deaton on bass and vocals, Tom Ryan on banjo and vocals, and Pat Shields on guitar and vocals, the Georgia Mudcats are straight out of the North Georgia Mountains - performing for audiences of all ages.
